A real dream come true. Finally, that fabled French AV10 tech has come to American shores in an easy to install package. This motor is great as a drop in replacement for your tired stock Motobecane, or use it as a base to build up a race AV10 setup.

Roller crank, CDI and Reeds make this a powerhouse right out of the blocks.

We recommend you tie in with a Dellorto SHA 15.15 carburetor and a race cdi box.

All motors are bench tested and ran before being shipped to us.

I have a 1976 motobecane 50 that i wanted an variator for and when i saw this i just had to buy it runs great i went 35 mph on it and i still haven't finished adjusting everything ran into a good bit of trouble wiring it but that was my fault (first time wiring a cdi) but after i found out what i was doing it ran great. some problems i ran into that i don't want you to run into cause it will take you longer to get on the road with your awesome engine. first the stock gunther carb that goes with the av7 will not fit in the space you have when using the av10 it will attach if you want to try and make it fit but i couldn't do it i got the carb they recommend Dellorto 15.15mm SHA Carburetor -Cable Choke also the engine came with a cdi box and 12 volt ignition coil so you shouldn't have to buy those my peddle hit the variator i haven't decided how to fix that but just wanted to give warning i just pushed mine to start with the new engine it starts really easy. I can't think of anything else i just wanted to list any problems i ran into its a great engine and i am extremely happy i got it good luck and enjoy your new engine

Coming from a totaly wasted motor, this is a great deal. Locktite EVERTHING! I have had both the variator and flywheel fall off. Intake it comes with will hit pedal sprocket. Stock variator spring will cause variator to hit pedals. AV7 stock exhaust will hit frame without modification.

so I built a dirt ped moby and bought this motor I have it set up with a 15mm sha stockish pipe 11x60 gearing with er3 vario 34mph off road this thing is a beast! ran it wot for a couple of weeks now no probs I will buy another one if I need it! I own 2 mbk av10s this clone motor actually has tad bigger ports all the way around and casting is very clean you know you want it! so upgrade that old av7 did I mention it has a full roller crank with woodruff key!!!!!

Just build one yourself. This thing sucks. Hardly runs.
