Once upon a time, Handybikes had a small stash of DS50 16 tooth front sprockets. Known to be the ultimate booster in Derbi tech. They were traded and hoarded by West Coasters, and basically unobtanium.


Well, we had some made. They are amazing quality and a perfect fit.

Seemed like the inside diameter of the sprocket was a little large as it was loose when I put it on, before putting the nut on to hold it in place.  After installation and putting everything back together on my 1988 Derbi Variant, the moped is running smoothly.
